Font License

Our Desktop License lets you install our fonts on your computer and use them for creating layouts and designs in software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and more. This license covers a wide range of design uses, such as logos, brand guidelines, print/PDF layouts, and eBooks.

1. Overview
This License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you, the purchaser ("You"), and KHISNEN Studio, the font foundry. In this Agreement, "KSN WebFonts," "KSN Fonts," "Fonts," or "Font Software" refer to the designs of the Fonts, the software that produces the typeface designs, and any associated artworks.
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Font Software from KHISNEN Studio ("Licensed Font") via Khisnen.com or payhip.com, you confirm that you understand and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
This license to use the KSN Fonts is non-exclusive, terminable, and non-transferable. By using the Licensed Font, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to abide by these terms.
2. Permitted Use
When you purchase a license, it's for use within a single organization, company, or for individual use. If you want to use the font across multiple companies, you'll need an enterprise license.
• Installations

You can install and use the KSN Fonts on the number of devices specified in your sales receipt. For example, if you buy an
"Up to 5 Users" license, you can install the Fonts on up to 5 devices used by individuals in the same company.
• Design Uses
You are allowed to use the KSN Fonts to create the following for personal and commercial use:
- print or digital products, documents, promotional campaigns, advertising campaigns, and product packaging.
- Create personalized or customized products for resale, including physical goods for retail sale such as T-shirts, postcards, and business cards.
- Create and publish e-books.
If you're creating works for clients or third parties, you can use the KSN Fonts for them as well, as long as they follow the terms of this license as if they were you. If they can't do that, convert the font to outlines.
You can use the KSN Fonts to create company or commercial logos, but you can't include the typeface design in any trademark registration.
• Backup
You can make a backup copy of the KSN Fonts on a desktop, laptop, mobile device, or studio server. Just make sure you're the only one who maintains or has access to this backup copy.
• Limited Embedding
You can embed the KSN Fonts in a PDF, PowerPoint, Word, or similar electronic document distributed physically or online for personal use, but the fonts must be read-only.

3. Restrictions
- Sub-licensing, selling, leasing, renting, or giving the KSN Fonts to another person or company is prohibited.
- You may not use the KSN Fonts for print or digital products without a License Extension (see below for more details).
- This license does not grant you the right to use the KSN Fonts for websites, applications, or broadcast media.

- Serving the KSN Fonts to unlicensed end users over a network, LAN, WAN, or the Internet is strictly prohibited.
- You may not utilize the KSN Fonts in an App that enables an end user to create custom typesetting with the Font.

4. Third Parties
You may temporarily provide the Font with someone working on your behalf for your project. Just make sure they agree to use the Font only for your work, following the terms of this agreement. 
They should not keep any copies of the Fonts after completing the project. Remember to take reasonable steps to safeguard the Fonts from unauthorized use.

5. Modification
You may not modify the fonts or create derivative fonts without prior written consent from Khisnen Studio. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the fonts themselves. 
You hereby agree that the unauthorized modification or reverse engineering of the fonts shall be an infringement on Khisnen Studio’s rights, causing significant monetary harm.

6. Ownership
You, as the purchaser, are granted a permanent, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the Fonts worldwide under specific conditions. Khisnen Studio retains full ownership of the fonts you purchase. All Fonts available on Khisnen.com and Payhip.com are the exclusive property of Khisnen Studio
7. Termination
This agreement will remain in effect until it is terminated. If you fail to comply with the rules, the agreement will automatically end. Upon termination, please ensure that you delete the original Font and all copies of it and the documentation, except for any typeface, text, or visuals generated by the Fonts that have been distributed or used by you up to the date of termination, whether in part or in whole, including any modified copies, if applicable.

8. Warranty and Refund
When purchasing non-tangible products such as fonts, please note that all sales are final. We are unable to offer refunds on virtual items. However, you can preview the fonts before making a purchase, and once downloaded, you'll have access to the font files. 
If you happen to lose or delete the fonts, don't worry! Just reach out to KSN Studio with your proof of purchase, and we'll be happy to provide you with a new copy.
9. License Extension
Broadcast or Streamed License Extension
The license is required if you want to :
 - create content for broadcasting or streaming purposes, such as on TV, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, digital billboards, and movie theaters. Just reach out to KSN Studio for the necessary license.
 - When you use the KSN Fonts in a format that displays credits, like a movie or TV show, please remember to give credit to KSN Studio as the copyright owner and creator of KSN Fonts. This type of credit is only needed when credits are displayed as part of the format and are not necessary on product packaging.
